KIKO COSMETICS MILANO 3D Lifting Cream - The Review

Ciao Bellezza,

In this post let's talk about moisturizer shall we..? As I ran out of my regular skincare item, I was looking at affordable and easily available moisturizer, I was reluctant to part with my SKII products but it is almost impossible to get my hand on them in Italy not to mentioned this brand cost more and more each year.. sigh..

As I love my Khiel's Ultra moisturizer face cream and been my life saver in winter months, I want to try around new products and if possible cheaper price tag. As I am addicted to Kiko Cosmetics and have not tried any of their skincare.. I started looking around their website and the review on them seems to be promising.
I decided on the 3D Lifting Cream (photo above) to replace my Khiel's as my daytime moisturizer. Why I chose that cream in particular? well, when you in your 30's believe me you will start looking deeply into keywords such as 'anti-aging, lifting, tightening... 'you got my rhyme?

Packaging: 1st impression of course the packaging. like usual Kiko never disappoint with their packaging. 3D Lifting Cream came in 50ml heavy thick plastic almost glass like jar, with a beautiful metallic chrome fuchsia lid. It is also came with the typical inner plastic stopper/cover.

Products: The creme is off white in color with somehow thick consistency, but not too thick, a little products goes a long way. It have a faint scent to it. I am bad in describing scents but it is the regular scents that you will find in most skincare products, I wont say it is overwhelming in any means. The creme spread easily and absorb into the skin within a minute after putting it on to my face.
Conclusion: It is a pleasant product to use. Does it really do any lifting? sorry to say I do not see any significant changes or lifting effect take place, however keep in mind that I have not finish a jar of this creme. Would I repurchases? yes & no. To use as daily moisturizer with or without makeup? Yes. It is hydrating enough. To use because of the significant lifting as Kiko claimed, No.

This moisturizer is retail at €15.90 / 50ml

Hope you have a great day ahead. Thanks for stopping by.

Halloween 2015 - Simple & Easy Feline Look

Ciao Tutti,

I know this kind of late post, but I would like to share with you 2 of the look I created while I was ( too be honest bored) in the mood to play around with my makeup stash. As it was a week before the Halloween I decided I should create something in conjunction of the coming holiday and post it in my Instagram.

The 1st look I did as a super simple super easy kitty cat makeup look. this look just need your regular base on with bit tweaking on the highlighting. What I mean by tweaking is instead using my regular concealer colour, I used lighter concealer to highlight areas that I want it to look raised to achieved more of a feline face shape, for example beneath the eyes, and the whole upper lips area.

The main star of this look is the Kiko Cosmetics gel eyeliner & Rimmel Scandalous jumbo eyeshadows pencil. This look is very versatile and in my opinion can be based on any feline look you have in mind. add some bright inner corner highlights and some uneven orange and black dots all over and it will turn this to a leopard makeup.

To get the maximum impact, bright coloured contacts is a must. I just don't have a pair available with me at the time.

and of course lots of selfies before wash it all off.

Kiko Milano Cosmetics - Cosmic Starlets Holiday collection 2015 - Part 1

Ciao Tutti,

The season is finally here. Yes, I do meant the cold and most important of all the time where ALL cosmetics company came out with their Christmas / Holiday editions. In this post I am sharing with you some photos and lil thoughts what I have about some of the products that I have been tested, at the time I am writing this post, I have not bought most of the items myself but the advantages of living in Italy, I do have access to dozens of Kiko Cosmetics store, literally 5km or less next to the other.  So I went swatch galore multiple times. We all need to wait for budget to buy stuff.. sigh.. well most of us do.

The first thought was, this is a HUGE collection. Bigger than their holiday collection for last year. And since became hooked with Kiko 5 years ago, I never seen them came out with fragrance candles! YIPPIIEEE!!! There is everything that you can ask for in this collection. The packaging is super beautiful and perfect to get as a gift for Christmas. I love the bright reds, silvers theme.

As this is a huge collection, I am doing posting of photos in several part. In this particular post I am sharing photos of lip product / sets that have been released with Cosmic Starlets Holiday Collection 2015.

Twin Star Nail Lacquer & Lipstick Set

Gorgeous lipstick packaging in shiny silver, with matching nail lacquer from their gel effect nail lacquer line. The lipstick is super creamy, highly pigmented what you see on the lipstick bullet is what you will get on your lips kinda situation, and it is comfortable on my dry lips. It came in 4 different shades of set and it is retail at €10.90 each.

Temptress Lip Set

The same lipstick that included in the set above is available in this set as well but instead of nail lacquer this set came with a matching lipliner. The lip liner is twisted up and as most lip liner by Kiko, it is super pigmented and long lasting. I had swatches stayed on my hand even after washing dishes. This set retail at €10.90 each.

Innocent Desire Lipgloss Set

The set consist of 3 lip glosses. This is not a new products release. Only repacked for this particular edition. It is the same of their Creamy Lip gloss stick that is available in the permanent range. I personally wont mind this as I love the lip gloss stick an the shade no.101 is one of my favorite lip item. It is stunning to be use on top of any lipstick. It change the colour of the lipstick slightly while adding bit of shine. It is not sticky, and have this very pleasant cocoa scent.

As the single lip gloss is retail at €6.90 and this set is retail at €15.90 it is really value for money and it came on the most cutest pouch with snap button for closure.

Ok bellinni.. empty stomach are calling me, I will do more posting on this collection and will write review in depth on the items that I decided to buy.
